Maui
I flew 26 hours from Hungary to Maui, and I had no jet lag whatsoever.

There was family, and food, shave ice and thai and barbecues, and lying on the beach, and sunburns, and snorkeling, and sea turtles, and the rise and fall of crashing waves, and a long walk from Kihei to the big beach.

This must be proof that you can in fact get so jetlagged that you're not jetlagged at all. 26 hours of flight + 12 hours time difference must be the magic number.

that photo brings back so many memories of living in kihei.
i miss big beach and the crazy waves. and hiking all over la peruse bay.
wednesday nights people would dance nude around bonfires on little beach (or so i'm told). if you were taking that photo where i think you were, it was right behind you.
there was also a turnoff just before little beach to a black sand beach where the turtles like to come and surf the waves around sunset.
did you go surfing at kalama?

When did you live in Kihei?
Yes, that was on the rocks between big beach and little beach. There were a lot of naked people on little beach, but it was during the day so there were no bonfires.
We actually walked from the condo in the row of hotels all the way down the coast, found the black sand beach, then walked over the humps to the little beach. On the way we passed a cave with sleeping bags in it and some guys having sex in the woods.
