So much for that. I guess I'm taking architecture in the fall.
I've been up since 4 am. I think I'm approximately on Greenland time.

In the past three days I read COD cover to cover. The first half of the book is annotated with careful notes and questions. I'm pretty sure I bought it new, so I have no idea who I might have lent it to.
Before that: puking Norwegians on the bus, crying baby class on the plane, rude old people on the plane. An African woman on the plane who had a beautiful quiet happy baby. When the flight was over I watched her wrap it tightly against her back with a batiked cloth.

I leave for Bergen in a couple of hours.

I am going to spend the next two weeks reading. A lot.
I am going to read:
1. In the bathtub.
2. In the bed.
3. On the sofa.
4. In cozy little cafes.

My grand plan for next semester: stop being a bad grad student. This has a few components. I will go to lots of talks. I will officially find an advisor. I will spend more time being human. Human things are reading, dancing, cooking, friends, languages, being outside, and dreaming.
