Tow Path

There is a canal that goes along the Raritan River between New Brunswick and Trenton, and a well-maintained tow path that goes between the river and the canal.

We saw lots of poison ivy, some egrets, a turtle, and many geese on the path, and some more exciting animals at the small zoo in the park. Also in the park were a soccer tournament, a game of cricket, and the 7th annual Patel family picnic.

Afterwards, a lovely Mediterranean dinner of hummus, baba ghanoush, lentil salad with tomatoes, bell pepper, parsley, cilantro, and lemon, and mustard potato salad. And much reading of rock climbing books.
