My photos from the gay pride parade have been linked from a Clinton-hating article syndicated around various conservative news sites, message boards, and blogs. This has resulted in a small flood of anti-gay comments (as well as a few friendly ones).
I'm somewhat sad that the pictures that I took to, well, share with like-minded friends are being used to spread hatred by people who are just looking to make themselves upset.
Oh well. On the plus side, this is the second time that a random visitor has recognized themself in an anonymous picture I posted. (The first was pictures from Halloween in the Castro a few years ago, while we're on the subject of things that inflame conservatives.)
Kevin insists that "themself" is not a word. I think that anything that gets 630,000 hits on Google must be a word.
In New Jersey things, well, it remains humid and thunderstormy. I have gone rock climbing a couple more times. There are fireflies out at dusk, which adds to the atmosphere when one is attending a dinner party on the porch or watching an outdoor opera, the things I did last weekend that I didn't write about. I spend my work time poring over integer sequences, looking for meaning in numbers.

Yeah but the first two hits for "themself" are dictionary entries, while the first hit for occured is an MSNBC article.
Which do you think is more legit? :-D
