Happy New Year
The new year was rung (or perhaps wrung) in with rain and dancing.
The dancing was, of course, the "Top Hat' ball, only I didn't have a top hat so I just wore a dress, and where I was quickly reminded of the hazards of lacking a boy to hang on to.
I did not take any pictures this time, although everyone was dressed up quite nicely. I did attempt to take some pictures at last month's Gaskell ball. Dim light and quickly moving people make for some interesting pictures.
For those who are curious, this is about as close as I'll ever get to Leia buns...
And because I haven't posted a sunset all semester, and it seems appropriate for the end of a year, the end of a semester, and so on...
May everyone's new year be better than the last. My resolution: to continue the eternal struggle against lameness.
