Swimming in paradise
So we went swimming in paradise, at cap d'esterel. Not only is it stunningly beautiful, with reddish rocks plunging into the green sea, but it's practically deserted compared to the beaches of Antibes or Juan les Pins. When we arrived on the rocks we noticed that the water was a bit dirty, but couldn't quite see what it was. The boys went in first, and decided it was flower petals and leaves.
Then I passed through and realized what it really was that we saw floating on top of the water: thousands upon thousands of tiny dead jellyfish. The currents must have pushed them all into one area, but it still wasn't an appetizing thought. Ben said something bit or stung him in the water, I'm guessing it was a jellyfish.
