Silk Painting: An Artistic Hobby for All

How Can I Learn More?

There are many books about painting silk. I know you'll find them at amazon.com if you simply search for "silk painting."

I live in California, near San Francisco, so I can only give details about resources in my local area. I highly recommend my teacher, Joy-Lily, for courses in how to paint silks.

Joy-Lily also teaches courses in shibori painting, a somewhat different process more similar to tie-dying.
