About the Configuration Guide

The user guide is shipped as part of the online library, along with the user manuals for Cadence tools. The guide is also published on a Cadence support website, SourceLink (sourcelink.cadence.com), so that users can read it even when they are not running CDSDoc.

Readers of the user guide are usually system administrators who set up Cadence software for their company and manage the supporting files. Readers are familiar with computer terminology and basic computer tasks.

The guide was written in Adobe FrameMaker, and converted to HTML using Quadralay WebWorks. PDFs are produced from FrameMaker.

Limitations of this Sample

The sample consists of only the HTML and PDF files for one guide from a larger library. Most of the other books (with the exception of the CDSDoc User Guide) and the CDSDoc application cannot be posted here. Therefore:

• Four links on the navigation bars will not work: Library, Search, Feedback, and Exit.
• Links from this book to some other documents will not work.
• The Library window, with its table of contents for each book, will not appear.
